Drop Cut is a macOS utility that finds the most usable, energetic section of a full track and turns it into a short reference clip for you.

From Finder, right-click an audio file, open Quick Actions, and choose "Make Drop Cut". The app analyses perceptual loudness, energy, transients, and low-end to export a highlight next to the original file.

It is built for fast reference workflows, especially when you want chorus or drop sections ready for Audiolens and TrueBalance without listening through and editing by hand.

macOS only. This installer adds a Finder Quick Action. The current installer is unsigned, so macOS may ask you to allow it in Privacy & Security. On Apple Silicon, macOS may also prompt for Rosetta because the bundled runtime is currently x86_64.
